Event: LGBT Mindfulness Meditation
Date: February 19 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
This mindfulness meditation session is aimed at beginner’s level and will change in style over time consisting of visualisations, breathing exercises, body scans, mindfulness and periods of silence.
The aim of this session is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space to experiment with different styles of meditation. The meditations will have no connection to organised religion or any form of dogma and they will change to keep things interesting.
A further aim is to benefit your mental health as meditation has been proven to greatly help with mental health. By meditating in a group a sense of connection and community can be heightened and we can bring this energy back out into our lives with us.
The meditation will take place seated on chairs. Please only RSVP if you intend to come as places are limited due to the size of the room. If you cannot make it please change your RSVP to allow someone else to attend. Please arrive on time to limit disturbance to the meditation session.
We ask for a small fee of €5 to cover the room hire costs and so that the group can continue to exist and grow.
Everyone is welcome to come for a coffee/tea/snack in the Outhouse Cafe before or afterwards.
